1. Navigate to “Type of Product” #

1. Log in to your back-office.
2. From the left-hand purple sidebar, click Products.
3. Select Type Of Product in the submenu.
4. The page displays an All Product type table and a purple + Add button (top-right).

2. Add a New Product Type #

1. Click the purple + Add button.
2. In the pop-up, fill out:
   • Name – e.g., “Chicken”, “Veg”, “Frozen”.
   • Color – Pick a hex colour for quick visual cues in reports (e.g., #008000).
   • Description – Optional notes for internal use.
3. Click Save. The new type appears in the list immediately.

3. Edit or Delete Product Types #

• Edit
  1. Find the type in the table.
  2. Click the blue Edit button under Action.
  3. Update name, colour or description, then click Update.
• Delete
  1. Click the red Delete button.
  2. Confirm the prompt. (Deletion is blocked if products are linked to this type.)

4. Table Tools & Filters #

• Search: Use the search box (top-right) to locate a type quickly.
• Show Entries: Dropdown at the top-left to change pagination size.
• Export & Print: Buttons let you:
  • Export to CSV, Excel or PDF
  • Print the list
  • Column visibility – show / hide columns
• Sort Columns: Click headers (Name, Color) to sort.
• Pagination: Use Previous / Next or page numbers bottom-right.

• Use clear, singular names (“Chicken”, not “Chickens”).
• Assign distinct colours to easily differentiate in dashboards.
