📋 Add Quotation – Create Customer Quotes #
1. Navigate to “Add Quotation” #
- Log in to your restaurant management system.
- In the sidebar, click Sales.
- Under Sales, select Add Quotations.
- The “Add Quotation” form will open with multiple sections for customer details, products, and pricing.
2. Fill Basic Quotation Details #
- Restaurant (Location) – Select your restaurant location from the dropdown.
- Default Selling Price – Choose the pricing tier to apply (affects product prices).
- Customer – Select existing customer or add new customer details.
- Pay term – Set payment terms for the quotation.
- Sale Date – Enter the quotation date (defaults to current date).
- Billing Address – Customer’s billing address will auto-populate.
- Invoice scheme – Select the invoice numbering scheme.
- Invoice No. – System generates automatically or enter manually.
3. Add Products to Quotation #
- In the Products section, click the search field.
- Type product name, SKU, or scan barcode to find items.
- Select products from the dropdown suggestions.
- For each product, you can customize:
- Quantity – Enter the number of items.
- Unit Price – Adjust individual item price if needed.
- Discount – Apply item-level discounts.
- Tax – Tax rates are applied automatically.
- Price inc. tax – Shows final price including tax.
- Warranty – Add warranty information if applicable.
- Subtotal – Calculated automatically.
- Use the × button to remove unwanted items from the quotation.
4. Configure Discount Options #
- Discount Type – Choose between “Percentage” or fixed amount.
- Discount Amount – Enter the discount value (e.g., 10% or $50).
- Discount Amount($) – Shows calculated discount in currency.
- The system automatically updates the total after applying discounts.
5. Set Order Tax and Additional Details #
- Order Tax – Select applicable tax rate from dropdown (e.g., “None”).
- Order Tax($) – Displays calculated tax amount.
- Redeemed and Available – For loyalty points or credits.
- Redeemed Amount – Shows any redeemed credits applied.
6. Add Shipping Information #
- Shipping Details – Enter shipping information in the text area.
- Delivery date – Set expected delivery date (format: mm/dd/yyyy).
- Shipping Charges – Enter shipping cost if applicable.
- Shipping Status – Select from dropdown (e.g., “Please Select”).
- Delivered To – Enter delivery recipient details.
- Shipping Documents – Upload relevant shipping documents using the Browse button.
7. Configure Delivery Options #
- Select Address – Choose delivery address from dropdown.
- Select Delivery Man – Assign a delivery person from the list.
- Click + Add additional expenses if you need to include extra charges.
8. Review and Save Quotation #
- Review the Total Payable amount at the bottom.
- Check all entered information for accuracy.
- Add any additional notes in the Sale note section.
- Choose your save option:
- Save – Save the quotation as draft.
- Save and print – Save and generate printable quotation.
