๐ Add Sale โ Step-by-Step Guide #
1. Navigate to โAdd Saleโ #
- Log in to your back-office.
- In the sidebar, click on Sales.
- Select Add Sale.
2. Fill in Customer Details #
- Under Customer, click the ๐ button and search for the customer by name.
- Enter the Billing Address if it’s not pre-filled.
3. Add Products to the Sale #
- Under Sales Order, click Add Product.
- Enter the product SKU or scan the barcode.
- Set the Quantity, Unit Price, and any Discount.
- Repeat for all items in the sale.
4. Set Sale Details #
- Enter the Sale Date.
- Choose the Types of service from the dropdown (e.g., Dine-In, Take-Away).
- Add Shipping Details if applicable.
5. Add Payments #
- Under Add payment, select the Payment Method (e.g., Cash, Credit).
- Enter the Amount paid.
- Click Save and print to finalize the sale.
6. Table Columns Explained #

7. Attach Documents #
You can upload documents like receipts, invoices, or warranties by clicking the Browse button.
8. Payment Details #
- Paid on: Date and time of payment.
- Payment Method: Method used for payment (Cash, Credit, etc.).
- Payment Account: Account used for payment (if enabled).
- Payment note: Any notes or comments regarding the payment.
9. Saving the Sale #
Click Save to save the sale. Click Save and print to save and print the receipt.
10. Troubleshooting #
- Cannot find customer: Make sure the customer exists in your database. If not, add them under Customers.
- Product not found: Check the SKU and try again. If the product doesn’t exist, add it under Products.
- Incorrect total: Verify the quantities, unit prices, discounts, and taxes for all items.
11. Best Practices #
- Always keep a backup of your receipts for audit purposes.
- Use the Types of service dropdown to segment sales data for reporting.
- Regularly review sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
