📝 Sales Order – Manage Customer Orders #
1. Navigate to “Sales Order” #
- Log in to your back-office.
- In the sidebar, click Sales.
- Select Sales Order.
- The page shows a Filters panel and an All Sales Orders table with a purple + Add Sales Order button (top-right).
2. Use the Filter Bar #
- Business Location – filter by store/branch.
- Customer – view orders for a specific client.
- Status – Pending, Confirmed, Shipped, Delivered, Cancelled.
- Shipping Status – Pending, Packed, Shipped, Delivered.
- Date Range – defaults to today; pick any custom period.
- Filters auto-apply; table refreshes instantly.
3. Add a Sales Order #
- Click the purple + Add Sales Order button.
- Fill in:
- Customer (search or select from dropdown)
- Order Date (defaults to now)
- Business Location
- Order Items (add products, set quantity, price, discount, tax, etc.)
- Shipping Details (optional)
- Notes (optional)
- Click Save. The order appears in the list with status Pending or Confirmed.
4. Row “Actions” Menu #
Each sales order row starts with a purple Actions dropdown:
- View – open a printable order summary.
- Edit – update items, quantities, or status.
- Ship – mark as shipped or delivered.
- Delete – remove order (blocked if invoiced or shipped).
5. Table Columns #

| Date | Order creation date. |
| Order No. | Unique order number. |
| Customer Name / Contact | Who placed the order. |
| Location | Store/branch for fulfillment. |
| Status | Order state (Pending, Confirmed, etc.). |
| Shipping Status | Logistics progress. |
| Quantity Remaining | Units yet to be shipped. |
| Added By | User who created the order. |
6. Export & Print #
- Buttons above the table:
Export to CSV,Excel,PDF,Print. Column visibilitylets you hide columns before exporting.- Exports reflect active filters—set date range first for monthly order report.
7. Troubleshooting #
| Issue | Reason | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cannot delete order | Order already invoiced or shipped. | Cancel or edit status instead, or contact admin for reversal. |
| Order not visible in POS | Status not set to Confirmed. | Edit and update status to Confirmed. |
| Totals don’t match invoice | Discounts/taxes not applied correctly. | Edit order and review all line items and totals. |
8. Best Practices #
- Always confirm customer and product details before saving.
- Use Shipping Status to track delivery progress.
- Export orders monthly for sales analysis and fulfillment review.
- Use filters to quickly find pending or overdue orders.
