🏢 Industry – Categorise Your Customers by Sector #
1. Navigate to “Industry” #
- Log in to your back-office.
- Expand Customers in the purple sidebar.
- Select Industry.
- The page shows the All Industries table and a purple + Add button (top-right).
2. Why Use Industry Tags? #
- Segment customers by market sector (e.g., Restaurant, Retail, Education).
- Tailor price lists or promotions to specific industries.
- Filter CRM or report data for targeted campaigns.
3. Add a New Industry #
- Click the purple + Add button.
- Enter the Name (e.g., “Hotel”, “Catering”).
- Click Save. The new industry appears in the list with:
- Created By – your username
- Date – timestamp of creation
4. Edit or Delete Industries #
- Edit
- Click the blue
Editbutton for that row. - Change the name, then click Update.
- Click the blue
- Delete
- Press the red
Deletebutton. - Confirm the prompt. (Deletion blocked if customers are linked.)
- Press the red
5. Link an Industry to a Customer #
- Go to Customers ➜ List Customers.
- Open
Editon a customer. - Select the industry from the Industry drop-down.
- Save the customer record.
6. Table Tools & Shortcuts #
- Search: Top-right box filters industries by name.
- Show Entries: Change page size via dropdown.
- Export & Print: Buttons let you export to CSV, Excel, PDF or Print.
- Column Visibility: Hide Created By or Date if not needed.
7. Troubleshooting #
